Privacy Policy
Netfront Pty Ltd ("Netfront", "we", "us") operates the SheetSyncs application. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights in relation to that data.
1. Data We Collect
When you use SheetSyncs, we access the following data from your QuickBooks Online company solely to provide the import service:
- Employee names and IDs
- Customer names and IDs
- Service item names and IDs
- Class names and IDs
- Existing time activity records (for duplicate detection only)
We do not store any of this data permanently. It is held in memory for the duration of your session and discarded when the session ends or the server restarts.
2. QuickBooks OAuth Tokens
To access your QuickBooks company, we use OAuth 2.0 tokens issued by Intuit. These tokens are held in server memory only and are never written to disk or a database. They expire automatically and are not shared with any third party.
3. Spreadsheet Data
When you upload a timesheet file, it is processed in memory and immediately discarded after the import is complete. We do not store, log, or retain any spreadsheet content.
4. Billing Data
Subscription billing is handled by Stripe. Netfront does not store or process your payment card details. Please refer to Stripe's Privacy Policy for information on how payment data is handled.
5. How We Use Your Data
Data accessed from QuickBooks is used exclusively to:
- Generate the Excel import template with accurate dropdown lists
- Validate time entries against your QuickBooks records
- Create time activity entries in your QuickBooks company
- Detect and prevent duplicate entries
We do not use your data for any other purpose, and we do not sell or share it with third parties.
6. Data Retention
We do not retain any QuickBooks or timesheet data beyond the active session. No personally identifiable information is stored by the Time Import application.
7. Your Rights
Under Australian privacy law (Privacy Act 1988) and where applicable the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, and request deletion of any personal data we hold. As we do not store personal data beyond the session, there is generally nothing to delete. For any enquiries, contact SheetSyncs@netfront.com.au.
8. Third-Party Services
Time Import connects to the following third-party services:
- Intuit QuickBooks Online — for time entry creation and data lookup. See Intuit's Privacy Statement.
- Stripe — for subscription billing. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the application after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
